In summer time Torgnon and the whole Valtournenche Valley (the Italian side of the Matterhorn) turn themselves in a huge playground for kids and adults. Here are some little tips of what you can do.

Summer Park

Torgnon's Summer park, located 2 km far from the apartment, is just one of the best spots around for children.

The main attraction is the Big Air where free riders and snowboarders may improve their style during the off season and normal people can test their adrenaline level equipped with an air mattress on their back (check the first picture in this page!). The park also will give the chance to visitors to have fun with electric quads, trampolines and air mattress games. Moreover the lifts which make the skiers happy in winter season are adapted to transport bikes and downhill e freeride tracks are built along the slopes. Horse riding is also available.

Picnic area

Close to the Summer park (a good walk from it or 3 minutes by car) the Plan Plorion's picnic area is located in a wide pine forest. This spot got the quiet coming out from the nature itself, but it's also well organised to make people enjoying it even more: 70 picnic tables and 20 bbq grills, a kids playground, tennis, basketball, volley and soccer courts, trails for hikers and bikers, wild free spaces guarantee the right mix of relax, sports and fun for a bracing holiday side by side with the nature.

Starting over in the end of June and all summer long the so called Estate Ragazzi is on: a child animation service which daily offers different sports and funny activities such as horse-riding, game fish, field trips, group games and funny days at the summer park.
