Torgnon's ski resort includes a cable car, three chair lifts, a baby winter park and a snow park. You will also find ski and snowboard schools. It is not the Aosta Valley's biggest ski resort, but it's the one which got the highest sun exposure of the whole region.

All the alpine and nordic slopes, the baby winter park, the snowpark, resort's bars and restaurants are close one to the other and well linked, so it's easy to look for each other for those who'd like to spend the day doing different activities.

Do not underestimate the fact that the ski area, thanks to its geografical position, is naturally protected from the strong winds which blow when atmosferic disturbances are coming from north during the winter season. It often comes out that when Cervinia's lifts stay closed because of the strong wind, Torgnon's are open without any problem.

The alpine slopes lenght is 23 kilometers and are all equipped with artificial snow machines. The slopes level of difficulty is varied: you can find blue ones for beginners, reds and blacks.

4 nordic slopes allow to exercise in a peaceful atmosphere and surrounded by beautiful panoramas. Loops are 3, 5, 7,5 e 15 km long, with the first one been equipped with artificial snow machines.

Snowshoes (so called "racchette da neve" or "ciaspole", in Italian) tracks are also part of the touristic offer.

By car

The apartment is car advised.

Lifts are easily reachable going to town where you can take the cablecar (2 minutes drive, 1,4 km) or going directly to the ski area (4 minutes drive, 2 km) where there's a chair lift waiting for you.

In both cases driving distances are narrow and you'll find free and wide parking areas.

Free skibus

People who don't want or cannot drive towards the lifts can use the free on-call skibus service: the bus stop is just 20 meters far from the apartment. Usually it's working all the season long on the weekends, and every single day on Christmas and carnival holidays.

Valtournenche - Cervinia - Zermatt

Those who want to take advantage of illimitate lenght slopes and glacier views or would just consider a different way to spend the day around, the international ski resort of Valtournenche-Cervinia-Zermatt (Italy and Switzerland) is only 20 minutes far.

360 km of slopes are waiting for you just as the Matterhorn is!

Summer ski is also available there.

Chamois

The municipality of Chamois is famous because, as a matter of fact, is the only Italian mainland one you can't reach by car. No way! Just feet, bicycles or electric vehicles. Got its ski resort itself, and you can go there by a cablecar located in Buisson, this one easily recheable by car (15 minutes drive) or with the skibus.
